Dear Lord

Dear Lord,
How much did you know
Blowing bubbles in your cot?
Did you know how to speak
English or Chinese
Or how many stars you had made?
What was it like
Discovering truth as you grew
Knowing The Truth is you?

A baby sits on a soft blanket, gazing upward while blowing bubbles that transform into a mesmerizing display of planets and stars, suggesting a universe of wonder and exploration.

Dear Lord,
Did you not know where to go
At the end of your road?
While wracked with such agony
Toiling in Gethsemane
“Let this cup pass from me”,
Did you cry out your prayers
“If there be another way”
Rememb'ring you are The Way?

Dear Lord,
How alive did you feel
Breathing out your last breath?
Did your creational zest
Feel completely oppressed
Or was it still pulsing within?
When you drank down that cup
What happened inside
When it collided with Life?
